Il lavoro di consulenza si è diramato su due fronti: quello amministrativo per le norme tecniche e le esigenze impiantistiche, quello museale legato all'esposizione.
Il lavoro si è concentrato sugli standard qualitativi e sugli obiettivi gestionali. Il tema dell'integrazione architettura è stato dominante.
Si pensava ad un'illuminazione che permettesse flessibilità nel tempo e ubicazioni delle sorgenti con angolazioni molto specifiche per ogni sala. L'unica soluzione di compromesso è stata quella del binario sospeso.

Lighting design for the ground floor of the Palazzo dei Diamanti

Consulting activities were carried out on two fronts: an administrative front with regard to technical regulations and requirements of the lighting system design, and the museum requirements with regard to the exhibits.
Work was entirely concentrated on quality standards to be met and targets to be reached by the new lighting system and technique. The aspect of architectural integration was dominant.
The general concept of the project design set the foundations for a lighting system that would allow flexibility in time and positions for the sources of light with specific angles in each of the halls. The only solution that included a compromise consisted in the installation of a suspended track.
